Our annual membership fees are subject to annual review and advised at the AGM, the next AGM is taking place in February 2019. Please see the news section.

At the end of March we operate the following. All new members pay the full fees and their membership takes them through to the following June, effectively you are getting 15 months for the price of 12. All Seniors and Intermediates are required to do two working parties 8.00am to 12.00 noon on Sunday mornings from mid-March through to mid-June to qualify for membership renewal. Re-joining starts at the end of the final working party. For those new members who joined between March & June working parties are still required to be completed, but when re-joining starts keys only need to be swapped over as we operate a lock change system each year.

If for any reason senior or intermediate members are unable to do their working parties, they must inform water management John.larcombe@kingslangleyanglingsociety.com. If due to an injury, operation or any other form of medical intervention, documentation must be provided.

All working party will be published in the news section and re-joining dates and times will be published at the end of April.

General Information

Please make sure you have read the rules on baits, hooks and line strengths on Gaywoods Pool. Our rules can be found in the rules section of our website.

Do NOT exceed line strength of 6lb. Do NOT exceed hook size 12. Do NOTuse boilies and copious amounts of sweetcorn.  Meat can be used but only as hook bait NOT LOOSE FEED.

If a committee member on checking your tackle finds you are not adhering to the rules, you may be expelled from the club.  If for any reason you are unsure of any of the rules, please avail yourself of the large rule board at the car park corner of Gaywoods Pool.

Please also make sure that any nets you have used are dipped and rinsed and hung up to dry in the drying cage.  In the event that you lose a net, please notify a committee member where and when you lost it, so that it can be retrieved.  Replacement nets cost money and this will eventually be reflected in your subscriptions.
